Welcome to the fifth Worker-Owned Business Academy! This course is a requirement for joining the worker-owned cleaning business started by Miami Workers Center (MWC) members. Anyone, regardless of their gender, can join the business.
In four sessions, we’ll break down the myths about worker-owned businesses, and fill you in on how these businesses are structured legally and managed democratically. You’ll learn about the founding members’ start-up process and their future business goals. Then, you’ll be eligible to apply to join this business that prioritizes, protects, and respects its workers!
Complete this registration form by June 17 and feel free to share it. Please be aware that the academy will have a limit of 15 participants.
