Florida Power & Light (FPL) Energy Saving Assistance
- Proper ceiling insulation helps lower your monthly electricity bill. Receive up to $1,420 with FPL’s rebate and federal tax credits when you upgrade your ceiling insulation. Visit FPL Ceiling Insulation to learn more about rebate and federal tax credit savings. Tax credits end this year.
- Newer A/C units tend to be more energy-efficient and cool your home faster, saving up to 50% of your energy bill. You may qualify for $1,950 in FPL’s HVAC federal tax credits and $200 rebate when you buy new energy-efficient A/C. Tax credits end this year.
- Switching to energy-efficient, indoor LEDs can reduce energy cost and therefore help lower your electricity bill. Upgrade and save up to $20 in rebates for each qualifying LED fixture. - FPL’s Care to Share Program offers up to $750 in emergency assistance to low-income Miami-Dade households at risk of utility disconnection.
