Miami-Dade's $12.7 billion budget & YOU 💸
Friend --
Whether we're slinging cortados at the neighborhood ventanita, raising the next Dolphins players, or caring for locals at any one of Miami-Dade's large hospitals — most of us work hard for our money.Â
We believe in taking care of our families and giving back to our community, no matter what we look like or where we come from, so that everyone can choose to live a healthy, affordable life here — for generations to come.
That's why our county's budget should reflect ALL our priorities, not just the whims of a greedy few.
Together, we can bring our own values to the table and work with our county's leaders to ensure that our $12.7 billion budget prioritizes everyday Miami residents, not wealthy corporations.
County Budget Hearings are next Thursday, September 5 and September 19 at 5 pm. Keep reading to learn how you can get involved and make your priorities known to electeds.

Motivated by the realities of the COVID-19 pandemic and police brutality, hundreds of Miami-Dade County residents bravely shared their vision for a better community at the 2020-21 Miami-Dade County budget hearings.
As a result of that grassroots advocacy, we launched the Divest/Invest coalition, a group of 120 local organizations focused on making our budget more racially just.Â
