Kerlande Ceant *(she/her) | Community Health Coordinator

Kerlande Ceant has served as Community Health Coordinator for Catalyst Miami since 2021. She is a Haitian-American from Broward County. She studied at the University of West Florida and received a B.S. in Health-Science Public Health. Fluent in Haitian Creole, Kerlande provides bilingual health coaching and social services navigation to community members. She is certified in Business Planning for Public Health Programs where she can implement a business plan to generate effective strategies for growth. She also certifies in FDA approval basics and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). She takes great pride in her work and being able to contribute to the community by providing support, quality service, and health and equity promotion. She is currently working towards her Masters in Public Health, where she is studying the health and safety of communities at large, while focusing on socioeconomic and health disparities that we face.
