JOB TITLE: Leadership Program Manager

SALARY: $58,000

EFFECTIVE DATE: February 1, 2024

 

SUMMARY:

Oversees implementation of leadership programs and alumni engagement activities; coordinate logistics, food, space, travel, materials for program-related events. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees and coordinates leadership programs
  • Leads participant recruitment and retention, including conducting outreach to potential participants and speaking at community events.
  • Manages administrative and technical logistics for programs.
  • Tracks, records, and organizes participant information and materials related to participant data, attendance, and evaluation/outcomes.
  • Ensures program-related collaterals are up to date and programming reflects the organization’s intersectional values and justice for communities.
  • Maintains regular communication with program alumni, and programs meaningful engagement opportunities for alumni to get involved in local action.
  • Represents Catalyst Miami at community events and helps to build relationships and partnerships with other organizations and community members.
  • Maintains regular communication with program participants and alumni.
  • Assists program participants with community project processes.
  • Assists in connecting leadership program graduates to Catalyst alumni opportunities and Neighbors to Leaders (N2L) fellowship.
  • Coordinates and leads events such as facilitator training, retreats, meetings and graduation ceremonies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position does not directly supervise employees. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Language: Professional working proficiency in oral and written English. Professional working proficiency in oral and written Spanish or Haitian Creole is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience: 2
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of web-based platforms

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in a shared-workspace environment
  • Stretch and bend to organize and distribute materials for Catalyst Miami activities
  • Able to sit at desk for long periods of time and utilize computer for extended periods
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate organization needs, including evening and weekends. Out of town travel may be required.
