Details: 

  • Hourly rate for full-time 12-month is $89.61/daily
  • Hourly rate for a part-time 12-month is $11.21/hr.
  • Health and life insurance + state retirement benefits
  • Paid holiday and vacation days
  • 12 paid sick leave days annually

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform a variety of routine manual tasks in the care
  • Cleaning & general maintenance of buildings & equipment
  • Satisfactory completion of a physical exam prior to hire
  • Shall complete Orientation Class and Custodial Certification Class within the first year of service
  • Shall complete Master Certification Classes by the end of the second year of service
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation (one must be on letterhead from a current or previous employer)

Details: 

  • Flexible schedule
  • Great pathway to full-time employment (40 hrs/week)
  • Part-time opportunities available (25 hrs/week)
  • Pay rate (per diem): $81.43 (30 college credits) or $111.26 (Bachelor's degree required)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Nineteen (19) years of age
  • Thirty (30) college credits
  • All instructional applicants must complete a candidate profile to be considered for employment
  • Non-Education majors must complete a two-day Temporary Instructor Training offered by Miami Dade College
    • Cost: approximately $200 (covers tuition and book)

Details: 

  • Starting salary of $17.33/hr.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification credential payment of $0.40/hr. per certificate
  • Benefits: health and life insurance, state retirement, paid holidays and vacation days, 12 paid sick days
  • Tool allowance of $750 annually on average

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of diversified licensed experience as a mechanic repairing heavy-duty trucks, buses or automobiles, or 2 years of such experience plus 6 ASE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL Class B drivers’ license with passenger endorsement. New hires have 90 days to obtain license. Satisfactory completion of a physical examination prior to hire date. This is an Omnibus Transportation Employees Testing Act (OTETA) monitoring position.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand oral and written instructions

    • CDL license/Class B, “PS” endorsements preferred or Class “E” license and CDL permit with “PS” (passenger and school bus) endorsements

  • 2 letters of reference are required, 1 must be from a previous employer on letterhead or with a business card attached.
