SUMMARY: This position will oversee the continued implementation of a county-wide Children’s Savings Account (CSA) Program. The Program Manager will contribute to program development, working closely with the Program Director, Strategic Consultant & Future Bound Miami Consortium. This position will collaborate with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, ensuring active participation by parents, participating students, school administrators, and teachers. The Program Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations and maintaining the relationships with community partners and program participants.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Consultant and Program Director to oversee and execute implementation and outreach strategy
- Compile, review and analyze reports for consortium partners and make recommendations based on findings as needed
- Collaborate with Program Director completing programmatic and grant reports for all Future Bound Miami funders
- Coordinate and manage consortium meetings and program deliverables with Consultant
- Participate in weekly check-ins with Program Director and Consultant to ensure streamlined program implementation
- Maintain strong relationship with Miami-Dade County Public Schools to identify school champions and maintain regular communication with each to better serve the needs of each school
- Provide trainings to school staff about the program as needed
- Collaborate with consortium on fund development for infrastructure and program contributions (incentives)
- Assist with development and management of program contributions
- Identify community organizations to form coalitions in the community to be advocates of Future Bound Miami and to increase parent engagement
- Train community organizations that interact with program participants (after-school programs, early childhood, etc.) to speak about the program
- Maintain all program resources (website, flyers, etc.) to ensure they are adhering to program guidelines and providing a clear message
- Monitor program contributions and compare to budget to ensure enough funds are available in the account
- Establish an effective customer service process to document, track, refer, and resolve inquiries and account challenges
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not directly supervise employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Language: Professional working proficiency in oral and written English. Professional working proficiency in oral and written Spanish or Haitian Creole.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Years of experience: 5-8 years of program management experience
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of web-based platforms.
- Other skills required: Data analytics, self-starter, program design, problem solver, and experience with banking a plus.
