SALARY RANGE: $60,047 - $67,294

SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting external communications of Catalyst Miami
and the Miami Climate Alliance, with a high level of organization, attention to detail, multimedia
skills, and clear commitment to our mission. Manager is also responsible for carrying out
communications with a strong, on-brand, race-class-forward voice, and ensuring that all
materials are accessible and inclusive of our communities. Manager will support Miami Climate
Alliance’s membership of organizations and individuals, including amplifying member programs
and events, co-creating programming, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Manager will work with Catalyst Miami’s climate team to engage the membership of the Miami
Climate Alliance to accomplish coalition-identified goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:      
● Uphold and follow our communications/brand strategy, including efforts to democratize
the brand and amplify community voices wherever possible.
● Design, produce, and update graphics, flyers, web pages, and other materials related to
the marketing of programs, events, and other Catalyst Miami and Miami Climate Alliance
work, always proofreading thoroughly and ensuring accessibility of language and design.
● Keep communications materials — both internal and external — updated, organized, and
readily available to staff in our drive.
● Support director with campaigns by serving as creative and strategic
consultant/sounding board.
● Keep Miami Climate Alliance website and NationBuilder database updated by conducting
thorough and regular page reviews, clean-up of contacts, etc.
● Serve as “historian” of Catalyst Miami and Miami Climate Alliance documenting by photo
and/or video our workshops, trainings, summits, other events. Keep these files saved
and organized.
● Collect analytics (website, social media, newsletters, events, etc.) to track and optimize
objectives.
● Input invoices into our financial systems for regular comms or Miami Climate Alliance
expenses/subscriptions.
● Contribute to board and grant reports.
● Assist with day-of execution of fundraising and special events, including Be the Catalyst
Summit and Give Miami Day.
● Organize and facilitate Miami Climate Alliance general meetings. Assist with working
group meetings as needed.
● Maintain relationships with Miami Climate Alliance members through direct outreach and
surveys.
● Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor and management.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● This position does not directly supervise employees

QUALIFICATIONS:
● Language: Professional working proficiency in oral and written English.
● Bachelors Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related
experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Excellent verbal and writing skills (Spanish and/or Haitian Creole a plus)
● Video and graphic design skills (Canva is acceptable; Adobe Photoshop or InDesign a
plus)
● Website maintenance
● Digital marketing and analytics
● Social media and newsletter content development and scheduling
● Microsoft Office
● Development/fundraising experience a plus
