REPORTS TO: Communications Director

EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately

SALARY: $40,000-45,000

LOCATION: Temporarily remote; eventually would be needed in Miami office

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop relevant, tailored messaging and content for Catalyst Miami’s social media, website, newsletters, press releases, etc. that align with the organization’s values.
  • Design, produce and update flyers, brochures, and other materials related to the marketing of programs, events, and other Catalyst Miami work.
  • Develop video content for program and event promotion, strategic storytelling, and fundraising.
  • Generate and edit photos, graphics, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and multimedia content.
  • Serve as “historian” of Catalyst Miami, documenting workshops, trainings, summits, events by photo and/or video. Maintain organizational photo, video, and print archive, including media coverage.
  • Maintain organizational press/media archive and a comprehensive press list, including Spanish and Haitian Creole language publications.
  • Manage social media content calendar.
  • Keep communications materials, both internal and external, updated, organized, and readily available to staff.
  • Collect analytics (website, social media, newsletter, events, etc.) to track and optimize marketing objectives.
  • Assist with day-of execution of fundraising and special events, including Imagine Miami Luncheon and Give Miami Day.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor and management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills (Spanish and/or Haitian Creole a plus)
  • Video and graphic design (Canva is acceptable; Adobe Photoshop or InDesign a plus)
