Melanie Hapner | Head of Risk and Security Assurance, Amazon

Melanie is a licensed attorney and experienced compliance/risk management professional. In her current role, she serves as the Head of Risk and Security Assurance for one of Amazon’s security organizations and leads a team responsible for identifying, measuring, and monitoring cybersecurity risk globally. Melanie is passionate about reducing the racial wealth gap and is dedicated to leading efforts to create more representative, equitable, and inclusive corporate work environments.  She received her B.A. from Georgia Southern University and her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
